Ua D Posted February 19, 2022 Posted February 19, 2022 Figure you guys have to know this one. Shoot most likely one of you owns this. So what was the last Hamer USA guitar made? It would seem fitting if it was a standard. /endofbeermusings.
mirrorimij Posted February 19, 2022 Posted February 19, 2022 Todd had an order on the bench strung up ready to ship when they called the meeting and axed us all. If I remember correctly he went back up after the announcement to finish it……..class act! Mike? Dave? Any memory of what that was?
Ua D Posted February 19, 2022 Author Posted February 19, 2022 That’s a bummer still to hear about. Glad many of us can still enjoy all the great craftsmanship from you guys.
cmatthes Posted February 19, 2022 Posted February 19, 2022 I thought it was David B’s darkburst Standard? Gerry H. also had a flamet Cali that was out right before that one. There was also an FB-08. when I was last there a few months before the end, there was also a 3-tone burst BOLT ON superstrat with Ebony/boomers, but that one apparently never made it out the door.
HamerCustomEr Posted February 20, 2022 Posted February 20, 2022 Bolt-on neck on a Hamer?!? That is even stranger, to me, than this bolt-on neck:
cmatthes Posted February 20, 2022 Posted February 20, 2022 I think (THINK) this was the last Hamer out the door in spring, 2014, but will check…
Pieman Posted February 20, 2022 Posted February 20, 2022 Did it have nickel hardware? BCR Greg sold me one that he claimed was the last one. No, wait, mine had victories. Anyhow it ended up int the Django49 warehouse!
cmatthes Posted February 20, 2022 Posted February 20, 2022 I believe that David B’s was the last one out the door.
