  1. speaking of crazy, pulled this out of the case this morning and decided I'm not selling it anymore. I waited too long to find an artist this nice, and I'm gonna keep it for now.
  2. I can definitely attest to that. Not to mention physical therapy.
  3. Yes definitely crazy. And not as young, fleixble, fit or skilled like those professional riders.
  4. But I like tipping the bike over! With enough speed and proper loading of the tires it’s not usually a problem.
  5. Ya'll are making me rethink this. But motorcycle season is upon us.
  6. I never started an official post here. https://reverb.com/item/93657352-hamer-artist-custom-2000 No longer for sale plus shipping to supporting known HFC members. thanks
  7. That’s mine. Ask me any questions. Known supporters of the HFCcan buy directly.
  8. Pretty sure there’s more than 2 but not a lot. There’s even some at least one or 2 with Brazilian rosewood fingerboards, but still not many. Worth 15k? Go kick rocks. But what do I know.
  9. Yeah but that sold in only one day. If it was $200 more it probably would have sold in a few weeks. There are not many artist customs for sale on reverb. Maybe I missed it but I don’t believe I’ve seen yours listed on reverb. And yours is much better looking IMO than the one above If yours is only listed here where there is a concentration of people who already own a ton of Hamers it’s a tougher market. And we are all cheap remembering the days when they sold for less. Even if that was only a few years ago. I personally think you’d be better off listing it on Reverb starting higher than here to cover selling costs and you’d reach a much larger market. Also I only see 2 Artist customs listed on Reverb currently at very high prices which means you’d have little competition at the moment. Waiting to list until the end of Feb. might be ideal though. Right when early birds are getting tax refunds.
  10. For some reason using just the website on reverb to search sold listings only brings up a the most recent sales with a couple listings at most. If you use the app on a tablet or phone though, it’ll bring up all the sold listings. Weird reverb quirk.
  11. Yes, right here Only thing I didn’t do was slot the fretboard
  12. I just got this last month. And as things go, the right artist custom popped up recently. This is a fantastic guitar but I wasn’t supposed to buy any guitars this year. Hahah. So at least one has to go and I’m keeping the Hamer. Price for known HFC supporters $sold plus you pay shipping. I doubt you’ll find one at a lower price. specs 2022 Krautster II Worn Petrol Blue (think satin not relic) thick neck with a soft V sort of profile original hsc and COA haven’t weighed it but it can’t be much over 7lbs It’s quite light and very resonant the Haussel neck p90 is superb Original Pickups, but the PO swapped them in and out a couple times I had to get the cold solder joints fixed when I got it. has a small ding in the front between the pickups and a few minor surface scratches on the back and some of the plating has flaked off the bridge.
  13. Well I was hamerless this year until yesterday. now I have to figure out what’s gonna leave. I just got a krautster last month and while it’s a fantastic guitar I just don’t think I bond well with singlecut guitars.
  14. And also this one showed up recently I bought.
  15. I guess this was new this year (I.e I finished it finally) but I built over the course of the 2 years prior.
  16. Best of the 3 artists I owned was the 25th plain one like this. Had lots of dark grain streaking also. I think these are one of the best values in the Hamer lineup. I swear I've never seen a decent picture online of what these look like in person with the transparent cherry finish over mahogany. I include my photo too, I'm no photographer and I never could capture what it looks like in person.
  17. You shouldn't have to pay tariffs on items originally manufactured in the us. But you are also at the mercy of the shipping company if they don't fill out the forms correctly, and CBP. Even then if it's wrong you can appeal it, but that doesn't mean it's not a headache. So yes you could be hit with a 15% tariff even though you shouldn't be and it might be easier to pay it then fight it for months with a guitar in limbo. so caveat emptor and all that. Also don't trust a damn thing I said in this post.
  18. Also weighs a nice 7.5 lbs (3.47 kg according to the website)
  19. no affiliation, https://intl.ishibashi.co.jp/search?q=hamer&options[prefix]=last it's on reverb also, but the store it is actually at is having a sale currently (until dec. 8th it says) and if you add it to your cart it's all the way down to $1350. It said Fedex shipping to the west coast was $250 for me. Don't see a lot of later hamers and very few in this color. Haven't seen many hamers with a flamed maple faux binding either. I just bought a guitar recently or I might consider this. Looks like it has belt buckle worming on the back and maybe a chip in the finish on the back of the neck.
  20. These are very cool. One of the few prs I've considered buying. Glad I didn't buy one years ago, but only because I bought my first hamer instead from django49. that being said it was tough choice at the time. I noticed they brought back the Mira this year also, but only in an s2 model.
  21. It's more of special but I picked this bad boy up last week. Pretty awesome so far. The neck profile is fantastic. Funny enough the neck joint while cool looking doesn't do anything or actually add to the playability on the upper frets IMO. Still feels like a setback single cut with a blocky neck joint. First Huber, and first blue guitar (well besides the white Washburn I painted metallic blue 25 years ago hahahah)
  22. Quite possibly. He's in formal indian wedding attire. It's possible a bride and some new in-laws made him dress like this. Most likely a wedding day photo.
  23. I have a korina explorer (not hamer) that's also 10 lbs, with a really chunky neck. I guess I never thought about the weight since these bodies are huge, 1.75" thick and I just figured a big guitar like this was gonna weigh more.
