Dutchman Posted September 16, 2023 Posted September 16, 2023 Glass Harp 1972. They never made it to the big time. But still a damn good band!
ARM OF HAMER Posted September 17, 2023 Posted September 17, 2023 Phil Keaggy one of world finest but little known guitarists.
Pieman Posted September 18, 2023 Posted September 18, 2023 Filmed in Cleveland at the local PBS station. Wonder what else is in the archives. I saw them ar Edgewater Park at a free concert in summer of 1970 or 1971. First time i heard anyone do volume swells like that. Great show. Much of the same set list. Thanks for the memories. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Glass_Harp_(band)
Jakeboy Posted September 23, 2023 Posted September 23, 2023 Phil Keaggy is a legend among guitarists in Christian circles. Greg Martin of t(e Ky Heads is a friend and he is close with Phil. Greg tells me Keaggy is just ridiculously good. Hendrix was impressed by him. The world thinks he’s too religious and the church music world regards him as too worldly. He needs to be better known.
