UPDATE: An SRV biographer thinks it's Rhandy Simmons of Anson Funderburgh & the Rockets. Similar name to the previous suggested ID, and yes the "h" is part of the given name.

Just watched an Anson video with Rhandy Simmons on Bass and I believe you are correct.
