Jack C Posted April 5, 2006 Posted April 5, 2006 I just bought a new amp before I could smarten up and talk myself out of it. That means I have to sell something and the THD Bivalve is the likely victim. I have an assortment of nice power tubes that I probably won't need any longer. PM me if you're interested. Otherwise, I'll just post pics and price and info as soon as i get my act together.
killerteddybear Posted April 6, 2006 Posted April 6, 2006 The first time I happened across this posting I thought you were talking about mollusks!! Geoduck, anyone? Perhaps clam (not that context)?
Jack C Posted April 7, 2006 Author Posted April 7, 2006 It's not a clam but it appears to be sold, pending payment. Thanks, Ernie.
santellavision Posted April 7, 2006 Posted April 7, 2006 Payment sent! It's mine, mine, mine. Thanks Jack. I owned a Univalve when they first came out. Loved it. I regretted selling it. Now I can have some fun mixing/matching tubes like a mad scientist again. Mooohaaahaaaa!
Jack C Posted April 8, 2006 Author Posted April 8, 2006 You're going to love it. You can also just run one tube at a time and basically have Univalve with better bass response.
santellavision Posted April 15, 2006 Posted April 15, 2006 Just got the THD BiValve from Jack. Perfect. Great guy to deal with. Recommended all the way. Oh, the amp sounds great too. Some nice NOS tubes came with it too! Quite a bit louder than my old Univalve. Way more clean headroom.Might be time for a garage sale of some older stuff. Stay tuned!
Jack C Posted April 16, 2006 Author Posted April 16, 2006 Glad to hear the amp and tubes (and power cord) make it safely. It's been a pleasure dealing with you, E.
