Any skilled guitar surgeons in the Tampa area?

This one hurts.  My '83 Vector did a face plant, and well, you can guess the rest.  The person I'd like to work with is not in the area and silly busy (deservedly so!)  If I don't have the patience to wait, anyone have a Tampa area wizard they know about and would recommend?

That might be who he was referring to here: The person I'd like to work with is not in the area and silly busy

I would just use some Titebond "make sure it gets all in there" then remove the strings and clamp down using surgical tubing... let dry for a week

Yup I think so too. It's a tough call when it may take a long time.

Yeah. There's a wait, but #MANOMANOCHEVITZ it's da bomb.

That's a heartbreaker, for sure. Damn.

Not sure if Murkat does this stuff anymore but his work was always spectacular.

If the break is clean (and it looks like it from your picture), a DIY project is pretty straightforward. Slowly push it back into place and see how clean the wound is. It may be as simple as Dave's suggestion.
