Had the book now for a couple of days - can't put it down - don't get any work done - WOW - BIG, HUGE compliments to Steve and Joe - so well done, guys! Besides the glorious pics and wealth of info - it's actually good reading. I had and have to do a lot of reading, so I guess I know what I'm talking about... . Thank you so much for this book - it dethroned The Stratocaster Chronicles in the guitar section of my library - easily...

I played an almost dead mint Monaco III (non-korina) for a fellow HFCer here in Charlotte. It was priced at $1100 if I remember correctly. That guitar sounded better than any other Hamer I have played. Killer tone. If I had not told the fellow HFCer I was going to help them with the purchase and shipping (seller was only interested in a local sale) that guitar would have been mine. I am sure the Korina is in a league of it's own... sorry for the thread hijack...
