Prices seem pretty decent to me at the moment. Reverb is the place to sell if you're willing to ship, Ebay auction is for if you just want to get rid of it, and don't mind 'giving it away'. - I'm told by my friend who buys/sells all sorts of stuff for a living (including guitars and amps). FB marketplace for local sales (if you live in a populated area), Craigslist is searched much less than FB, but still worth posting there too for those buyers who aren't on FB. I've been flipping a fair amount of stuff recently: sometimes it takes several weeks of 'market exposure', acoustic guitars and basses are slow movers. Expect some irritatingly lowball offers on FB, decline those and within a week or two you'll probably have a reasonable buyer. I recently added "local (my city) meetup only please" to my listings, that has reduced my drive times for sale meetups. I always ask for "cash only please" too, makes for a clean done-deal.

No that pickup isn't original to the guitar................like the Kahler it was an aftermarket part. PICs from the listing before I bought it.

My herd thinning has begun, on the block is Serial Steve's old '78 Greco. I received it as a carcass, as I managed to get it away from Brentrocks before he did something stupid with it. I had it finished by Scott Tucker at PST guitars in Virginia (Turned out great if I may say so). I added Dunlop buttons, a pair of tringle leg Dimarzios and new Schaller tuners, everything else is original. Comes with the nice modern SKB case. Really nice dark fretboard, frets are in fantastic shape. Plays and sounds as good as it looks. Looking to clear $2000. Would prefer a local sale to Annapolis/Baltimore or meetup within reasonable distance. Would prefer not to ship ... but will

This pedal is advertised as David Gilmour in a box. A buddy of mine is downsizing a ton of his gear and I grabbed this one from him to try out. Great pedal, not my style. Never played out of the house. In great shape. Velcro on the bottom. Brand new sweetwater has these listed for $299. Cheapest one I see used on Reverb is $200 shipped. He gave me a deal so I’ll pass that along. I’ll let it go here for SOLD PPFF if you don’t mind.

I live in an apt. Have bought and sold 2 pairs of Boss Waza-Air headphones. They work great but I found them to be uncomfortable and was concerned about blowing out my hearing. So when I saw these PG Spark NEO headphones I jumped on them, even though I suspect they may have the same problems. I have been using open-air headphones I am more comfortable with, with an older version of Boss Katana GO or headphones connected to Spark Go amp, but anything that makes it easier to pick up guitar and play is worth it to me. (I may be lazy.) I don't care about the A.I. that is included, but am curious about it. First thing I plan to do is type in "Diamonds and Rust from Unleashed in the East" and see what happens. I will report back, hopefully sooner than I have reported on the Strandberg that has been hanging on my wall for the last month. Maybe at the same time!

I'm not 4-Imprint certain, just from what I've read in various bios/gear blogs. I could be wrong and probably am. I was referring to the red/white/black respray of his original Boogie Bodies build. I'm probably wrong here, too, but that's the beauty of the internet. There's always somebody who knows the truth to what one posts.

Are you certain on the Danelectro scale length? My '56 with the same headstock was 25.5" scale. They made them in 25," 25.5" and a ton of them in 23."

I remember Gracins in L.I.N.Y. were the big dealers for BC Rich back then. $981 for that was a good price. Cheaper than my 1981 Standard Bass.

I'm selling stuff on consignment. Just sold an amp and guitar. Made money on one, lost a few hundy on another. Didn't have ship/pack, etc., so that's a win in my book. A few more guitars and two amps to come... Market seems a little soft lately. Prices aren't tanking, but muhfuggas are still posting higher prices for premium gear. I don't know if they're getting asking. This is why I like early-80s, Japan replicas. Very high quality for low/mid-level pricing.

Who's Wolf Hoffman?

Hard pass. I dig Wolf's style with it's nods to neo-classical style and some moderately quirky touches. But I wouldn't place him in the upper echelon of shredders or innovators. Lastly, if it ain't got 27 frets, it ain't a Cali, to me.

Yeah, no shit, Pete. As I said above, I saw them on the '82 "Farewell" tour. "It's Hard" had just comce out. I was so over-the-moon excited to see them and they were so disappointing. I blame Kenny Jones. An incredibly boring, nothing extra drummer. I saw them again in '89 at another stadium show, this time Giants Stadium, here in New Jersey. This time for the Tommy *shudder* 20th Anniversary Tour. This was a much more enjoyable show; bigger, louder, and Simon Phillips on drums. Here was a drummer. He didn't "Moon out," but he drove the song. Jones played drums more like a passenger. I've seen a few stadium shoes over the years, but that was the only time I had a ringing in my ears afterwards.

No, but I saw them in 1989 in the amphitheater they played in Atlanta when Pete responded to the crowd's urging for another encore by telling us to go home and get some sleep. Other whipping-up-the-enthusiam remarks were some head shakes about how, without Keith, it was no longer like it used to be. We young bucks missed all the good times.

Yeah, I went to Shea Stadium in Queens, NY for that tour. 43 years later, they're still jerking us.

Just not my cup of tea. The older I get, the less interested I am in "one offs" or "special orders". And don't get me started about guitars with somebody's chicken-scratch signature obscuring the beauty of a good guitar. A guy sold me a Strat with Buddy Guy's signature on it. The next time he saw me play it, he noticed the autograph was gone. He said, "Is that the same guitar"? I said, "Yeah".
