I actually LOVED my HM-2 back in the 80's....... Till I went to work for Tube Works and got my first Tube Driver Pedal.... The original BK Tubedrivers are still KILLER!

Let's not forget about the all important Rockman... when gigging in the 80's I mostly remember seeing Randall Solid state rigs Marshall + Pedals or racks Rack rigs ... mostly ADA MP-1's But you have to remember your over-the-top use of CHORUS! ... on EVERYTHING! Get out the eyeliner, Aquanet and spandex

+1 for the Switchcraft plug..... If you are using any kind of "Eastern" plug the diameter is actually 6.30mm and True 1/4" is actually 6.35mm.... it does make a difference.... upgrade the cable...

84 what time is your gig on the 27th.... we usually get started pretty early.... and a few of us linger till the wee hours of the morning.... Just a thought... then again the 6th is still open.... I'm booked for a gig on the 20th ah hell .....

Oh man..... Was changing the baby first thing in the morning... had applied a little Destin and left the cap off .... bent over to grab a fresh diaper and as if it was planned I was yawning and standing back up when I see out of the corner of my eye a little foot on the downward angle of a kick... it hits the tube of Destin and a little blip goes right in my mouth...... only Wiley E.
