I love mine. Stock tubes OK, Tung Sols better, NOS Sylvanias and this is impossible to beat for the price. If they can improve the XD then good for them. I don't know what they could do... maybe a 12 inch speaker? morningstar

I have been a 10 - 46 guy forever. My MIK Daytona feels too loose. I like some fight back from a guitar (I have no finesse/I am a masher). The tremolo is blocked. The most I ever tune down is one half step. Am I going to create issues by using a heavier string? I see 11-49, 11-50, 11-52 and 11-54 available. How much is too much? Thanks morningstar

Zazzle shirts are about $25 for long sleeve black XXL. Their printing looked good at first, but cracked up pretty fast. I did some for the old studio. morningstar

+1 more on the XD. I put some old (1957) RCA (Sylvania green ink) tubes in it and never bother with pedals. The stock speaker is fine, but the XD rips through my old 15" full range Altec and Wizard 2 X 12. The stock tubes were "OK", but Tung Sol RI were better and Sylvanias have "it". morningstar
