That coke poster is so true and so sad. I guess some are tough enough to pay the toll for that kind of self abuse,. I like Dave Grohl. I always respected that he took on that dizzy cunt that Curt Kobain was married to.. What a grasping, vicious vexatious and nasty. Hole is right. Grohl's drummer is the shit. morningstar

One of my favorite subjects! Always something "unique", "custom", "modified", or "one of a kind" on evilBay... http://www.ebay.com/itm/ErgoJet-Handmade-Zebrawood-Electric-Guitar-Just-Finished-Great-Tone-Nice-/190630300355?pt=Guitar&hash=item2c62738ac3 At least it has a nice "ass". morningstar

morningstar replied to mc2's topic in Hamer Fan Club Messageboard
My deepest condolences for your loss. morningstar -
OO so I aked for pics of the guitars themselves and got more or less bupkus. Check this out: QUESTION: Dear congabongoguitar, Hey friend. It's gotten around that people asking for pics of THE guitars listed are not posted or being made available. Please POST PICS of the actual instruments listed. Thank you. - hamernut ANSWER: Dear hamernut, I dont mean this to be a wise ass, but this is a new guitar, if you buy a new guitar on line they are not going to show you the one you are getting Frank - congabongoguitar When I buy these, it will be here. morningstar

I just wanted the action to have more fight in it. I ordered up a set of 11-49's. report to follow. morningstar
-
Thanks Johnny... you really do reduce everything to a science. 11-49 NPS hex cores... I will try em. morningstar
-
Thanks guys. I slop Nut Sauce on all my guitars. That ought to work well enough to figure out if heavy strings are what I needed. morningstar
-
I have been a 10 - 46 guy forever. My MIK Daytona feels too loose. I like some fight back from a guitar (I have no finesse/I am a masher). The tremolo is blocked. The most I ever tune down is one half step. Am I going to create issues by using a heavier string? I see 11-49, 11-50, 11-52 and 11-54 available. How much is too much? Thanks morningstar

You heard Shirtmaster Chris. This is a big freekin job and Chris may do it but ONLY if demand justifies the monumental hassle represented by the task (i.e. at least better than Cafe' Press' demand). I will put my money where my mouth is and advance a deposit. I want to be put in for: Five (5) each Long Sleeve Black XXL Headstocks on the back, HFC logo on the front. Will $30 per shirt suffice as an advance deposit of costs? What is the PayPal address? should I label the deposit "gift" or something else? Thankee morningstar

Sorry Chris, wrong Chris... my brain is swiss cheese these days. Sometimes you get cheese, sometimes you just get gas. The real fanclub shirts have held up for many years and outclass the Cafe Press stuff easily. Dittoes on the good brand names for the shirts. If somebody does it sign me up for five, black, long sleeve, XXL. Email chain me at hamernut at yahoo dot com morningstar

The back had the heastocks logo as seen on the "mini poster: http://www.cafepress.com/hamerfanclub.65144865 The front had the hamerfanclub.com logo on the left chest, like this: http://www.cafepress.com/hamerfanclub.64163945 Cafe Press does NOT offer this print option in the classic BLACK, long sleeved, XXL Again I am up for five. The former wizard of these was ChrisB? thankee morningstar

Zazzle shirts are about $25 for long sleeve black XXL. Their printing looked good at first, but cracked up pretty fast. I did some for the old studio. morningstar

+1 on the shirts. BLACK, long sleeved, XXL with original headstocks back and club front. I have about 7 or 8 but they are getting pretty beat. The Cafe Press stuff is all pale colors. I only wear black (yes, I am a pig, but I always wore black even when I was a skinny kid). Sign me up for five (5) shirts. Café Press has more girly shirts: http://www.cafepress.com/+womens_dark_tshirt,415349972 Chap key fob, with Boomers, cool put pricey: http://www.cafepress.com/+hamer_chaparall_...chain,529347112 Get the girly Chap T shirt http://www.cafepress.com/+hamer_chaparall_...shirt,387545687 morningstar

+1 more on the XD. I put some old (1957) RCA (Sylvania green ink) tubes in it and never bother with pedals. The stock speaker is fine, but the XD rips through my old 15" full range Altec and Wizard 2 X 12. The stock tubes were "OK", but Tung Sol RI were better and Sylvanias have "it". morningstar

replacement trem bar for Hamer Mirage I
morningstar replied to Morris Davis's topic in Hamer Fan Club Messageboard
atquinn's Daytona was once mine. It had three bars: a factory Wilky bar and the two Stongemon bars (long and palm bar). I did not realize the vintage type Wilkys on Mirages were different in any way at all. I learn something every day. morningstar -
My last name. I am so creative. morningstar
