I can't remember who made them or if they still do.. but I once toyed with the idea of throwing those black colored bass strings on it as well (not the nylon tapewounds, but the actual colored metal)... I thought it might be too much tho so I never did...

Well, it wasn't a tough sell. Been looking for an excuse to attend some kinda Hamerfanclub function for years now. Good news is you won't have to endure my sucky bass playing. I'd rather watch than play anyways . (and that is the plain truth) That is the sucky part... was looking forward to meeting you. Maybe we'll see ya in FL next spring before we head off to St Thomas...

ETA into MPS is 1030 hrs Friday April 17... If Johnny Thunders' plane and mine are on-time we should be able to share a cab over to the Aloft Hotel. I'm hoping I can check in early (They indicate 1500 hrs on my reservation... we'll see.) As far as getting out to 4-3-2-1 and various running around, I'm at someone else's mercy. (share cabs/gas money whatever)

That's where I'm staying. Looks kinda funky cool... 1.5 miles.. that's staggering distance.. unless it's a bad part of town... lol $400 R/T... seems pretty good... if't weren't for Airmiles I'd be paying about $900.00 from Alberta...

Well, I am seriously considering flying down for this one... it sounds like a killer time. I'm not a big jam guy, but the opportunity to meet a bunch of you is pretty darn enticing... And if you're doing The Hellion/Electric Eye... Wouldn't bring THE FB though... Depends on work mostly... hmmm Edited to add: Are there any Canadians considering heading down at all? Maybe a couple of homegrown tunes would be in order...
