  1. The first song I heard was You Could Have Been A Lady, a Hot Chocolate cover, I believe. It didn’t do much for me. Imagine my surprise when they came roaring back some years later. It blew my socks off! I ended up digging them after all!
  2. What are you digging about the staples?
  3. That actually was the case for me too when I developed some hand issues around 2012. I did work past the issue. Around 2023, I developed new hand issues. I’m still trying to work through them, but for now it’s thin necks that provide comfort. Funny how that goes. As to string gauges, I’m down from 11s to 9s on 25.5, and 10s on 34.75. I adapted fairly quickly, but I did come from the land of 9s prior to going with 11s. This is also due to hand issues, and it’s been helpful.
  4. Ok, I’ll play… Saul, maybe you should send that fart pedal review that you posted.
  5. I’m a fan. Saw them a few times, one of those times I had the privilege to be in the opener. Good times! Jerk Of All Trades is a fantastic album, came out a couple years or so after the record that has Jan Brady. As to the band that started this thread, not my thing at all. But, if they’re having fun, that’s cool.
  6. I first saw Greg in Green Bay, WI, in the late 1980s. There was a great blues oriented bar there called Heroes. Many years later, not to mention many miles between various places lived, I’ve seen him twice here in Appleton, WI, at Gibson Hall in the last year or two. I’ve enjoyed the H out of his shows every time!
  7. Stage hand or opener, but never with…
  8. Freakin’ cool. I’m a big Glen fan, listened to Easy Action a few days ago actually. Saw the band in 1973. That guitar has been in my mind for many years!
  9. At a pub now, but I did spin Humble Pie’s Smokin’ prior to leaving the house.
  10. I need to check that out!
  11. I’ve a Rockittretro 50, with the PPIMV option. Supersmallbox option, which is an option a guy in India talked Kevin into, because he used public transit. Worked for me, because I was using light rail in Phoenix. Killer amp.
  12. Just found a three record compilation of Mildred Bailey at my local cool record store. Spinning record three right now.
