i have a twangmaster in the bridge of my studio and another one on the way for the neck , kickazzzzz combo , brightened up a very dark guitar , careful with the twangmaster in a bolt on bright guitar, might be too much , i'm also ordering a fralin p-92 for my daytona , better fit imo for a bolt on type......................

Metal Fatigue overall is an epic album. Secrets is pretty dern good, too. Nice view of Mr. Holdswotrh here: Good to hear that he is with Chad again. I like Gary a lot, but Chad is something special. like zoinks scoob!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! that was just awe inspiring , thank you bro for posting that , friggin cool , the whole tone idea he follows from 3:30 - 4:00 is just killer , dude is an innovator..................

Once you build out a chord to a sixth or above, it shares the notes with other chords depending on the context, progression, and accompanying bass note. For example, ACEG could be Am7 but it shares the exact same notes with CM6. So there's no one answer to the question as posed, but D9 is one answer. i look at it from a jazz perspective the way i was taught , it's a d9 chord with an F# in the bass , , it is true there a many ways to look at it , i prefer to keep it simple and it's dominant tonality is a D dominant chord with an added 9..............

it's D9 , plain and simple................

i know this might sound crazy to you guys that know me and my playing style but i have never heard a guitarist in my life who left me as cold as petrucci , i'm a guy who worships al dimeola , vinnie moore, andy timmons, joe satch , guthrie govan, joscho stephan , stochelo rosenberg , yadda, yadda, yadda , but whenever i hear petrucci he sounds so sterile and worked out , it's like a metronome of amazingly technical licks with no soul or sense of wild abandon , i know alot of you may dig him and that's cool , just not my cup of tea , that's why we have chocolate and vanilla........................ -
