When did Jol become the controlling shareholder? Isn't he just a paid exec, at this point. Mind you, not an unenviable position - - he draws a check and does his thing. While probablyworrying about the staff and all the mouths they feed. In any other economy, he would probably be looking for the dough to buy out the business - - if he believes in it. Or the equipment if he wants to become his own master again. Just sayin'. ehhhhhh....... it was a playful bit of word play on the adage "it ain't over till the fat lady sings" nothing more nothing less.

I keep changing amps but always go back to vintage fenders. everytime I plug into one with a few quick twists of the dials I can find a useable tone. tubes baby tubes!!!!!

cort makes great guitars they have for years if my memory serves me well Kramer made the first simmon's ax they were all signed and numbered and used the metal tuning fork headstock neck ed roman bought the remaining bodies from the factory and in the 90's was buying up tuning fork kramer guitars and necks to make his bogus gene simmons' models. I remember talking to him about it when he bought a tuning fork guitar I had. I said they were all signed and numbered his reply was "only you and I know and remember that" so........ what can I say????

nice to hear I was missed! I started back in 84 or 5 with the first New York show and have done a ton of them and even ran my own show for 10 years. Yes e bay has put a damper on them but it is sure a hell of a lot nice to physically touch an instrument before you buy it. Pretty soon, the show will be havens for heavy stuff that no one likes to or can afford to ship or large bulky items like drums that ship for high dollars. with all that said I still like to go, at every show I see different people, I have made many lifelong friends in columbus (Kim Keller being one of them, I think we met in 89 or something like that) everthing evolves, that one constant is that there will be change.
