Wasn’t sure we’d get the chance, but he’s coming within striking distance, so it was a no-brainer given his health situation. Almost bought tix for another show that night, but I procrastinated asking my buddy if he’d want to go. Once again, it paid off! Good move! It should be a wonderful show.
Kookaburra Posted June 27, 2024 Posted June 27, 2024 Wow, lots of plans here, and that’s really cool! Outside of Mile Of Music, an all originals fest here in downtown Appleton, WI, I don’t have jack planned.

DarkHammer Posted July 3, 2024 Author Posted July 3, 2024 Just got email from Ticketmaster and saw that Aerosmith was there. Followed the link and checked the prices - for NY MSG the cheapest tickets are $190 in the all the way up sector behind the stage. With fees this will jump to $250. I like Aerosmith, but certainly not spending $500 on the nosebleed seats. Cheapest decent low level seats are $678 and floor seats are $1000 per ticket!!! This is robbery.
Steve Haynie Posted July 3, 2024 Posted July 3, 2024 Ticketbastard hides seats. Just keep watching availability. There will be nothing in a section except resale seats. Then, what great opportunity arises? An entire row of unsold seats pops up for high prices! After all, there are no other seats available. The fake rarity of good seats makes people think they need to jump on what is available because tickets are almost gone. No. Seats are make available in limited quantities to give the appearance that tickets are almost gone.

Even if they release large blocks of tickets I doubt they will be substantially cheaper.
Steve Haynie Posted July 3, 2024 Posted July 3, 2024 I have missed a bunch of shows because of ticket prices. The final Rush tour was too expensive. If I had known it would be the last tour, maybe I would have gone. We paid ridiculous prices to attend the last two KISS shows at Madison Square Garden.
