Just be careful dealing with them.  I know several people (2 are members here) who he took $3k+ for and held their money for 3-4 years and blocked them.  One finally got his guitar and it was good, but the experience definitely tainted the whole thing.

Yep, buyer beware of Eddie.  Ordered a Nielsen korina.  Promised me 6 months.  Almost 2 years later I had to contact BBB because he blocked me and refused to refund.  BBB came through, thankfully.

Now you know three.  Paid him $2,900 a year ago Monday.  He's never sent me a invoice, any pics or contacted me without me contacting him first.  Stopped responding to my texts about two months ago.  I blocked him on FaceBook and told him to call me when the guitar is finished.  He's gone on a rant (but subsequently pulled it) about how he's just one man and blah, blah, blah.  He promised me six months to a year.  He's done nothing.

He sent me an unhinged rant threatening me with "severe legal action" and named a lawyer or two "who never loses a case" because of a comment I made somewhere (clearly nothing actionable, and also 100% truthful, and honestly, not really negative), and told me I needed to delete all mention of him anywhere.  I did nothing of the sort and just blocked him, because there's a lot of sand somewhere I'm sure he needs to pound.  That kind of bullying might frighten somebody who isn't familiar with how defamation law works, but that's not me.

I just don't want anything to do with him.  I've been down this road.  It will be years.  He's full of shit.

I'm sorry you're having to deal with this (again).  It was really stressful for a friend of mine who went through something similar a year or so ago.

Had a great experience in 2005 ordering my custom Dean ML thru Eddie.  We went a little crazy with options then the Dean guys really delivered on that spec. He was just starting the CarIin0 line, but I thought they were mostly fugly knockoff guitars that didn't interest me. Sorry to hear about your experience.

I met him and I thought he was a cool dude and loved guitars but  didn’t love the fact that I lived in NH (no sales tax) and I had to jump thru hoops on that issue.   Talking about me paying cash.  a little bit too slick.   
 

   My father was an Italian guy from Somerville so I didn’t fall off the turnip truck but thankfully, but my spidey sense told me to buy an R8 instead.

Now, he's threatening to sue me.  That's laugh out loud funny.

I spoke to a Middlesex County Assistant State Attorney yesterday.  Fraud in the Inducement would be the charge.  Supplied every stitch of info from the web to her today.  Other complaints have been made is all she would tell me.  She was also very interested that I wasn't given any documentation.  Could be a sales tax issue as well.  Next, I'm going to make a complaint with the Better Business Bureau.  They have resolved at least three other claims for refund.  The "fun" begins.

He was a great dude until he wasn't.  I never even searched to see if there was anything negative on the "net".  I guess, in hindsight, I should have.  I'm a trusting type.

I wish I had Spidey sense...
