I removed the tuners from my 1986 Chaparral this week and noticed there is a number stamped on the part that rests against the headstock. They are Hamer branded....Three have the number "1" and three have the number "6" stamped on them. They appear to all be the same but wondering if there is some importance to the numbers on them. Anyone know the reason or meaning?
