No affiliation;

Seems in very nice condition and quite reasonably priced:

Based in New Zealand, which I suspect may be a deal breaker for many here.

As a committed Californian player I’m tempted to give this one a try…

Trem system is aftermarket- An original Floyd: bolts extend over the cavity.

Elite doesn't have a bolt on neck does it? Mine didn't anyway.

If it's anything like the Cali's, it should have a bolt on- Elite classification for Cali's meant boomers, hog bod, ebony board. Maybe the same applies to Chaps?  Set necks, IIRC, were usually custom orders save for pre- '88 Chaps. But those were also 24.75" scale and had slightly more angled head stocks.

Hmm… might’ve dodged a bullet then, although it looks like they extend over the cavity here (?)

They aren’t supposed to. Looks routed for a Schaller Floyd, not an Original.

Wow, that was quick! Evidently someone else also thought it was reasonably priced

Still available to me... bridge PU isn't original as well

New owner will have to choose EMG or the conventional passive pickups. Won't work (well) as configured.

Elite = bolt-on, ebony board with boomerangs

Standard = bolt-on, rosewood with dots

Custom = set neck
