JonO Posted June 7, 2025 Posted June 7, 2025 Cool Phantom! However, is that a headstock repair or massive finish crack?

"Back of headstock has some damage but neck area is solid." Ummm.... Also no mention of a case. Still a decent deal, but needs a serious cleaning and probably some work in the 'damage' area.

I would say that it's definitely a massive finish crack caused by a massive headstock crack. Whether it was repaired or not is anyone's guess. Either way, that's not a great price.
tbonesullivan Posted June 8, 2025 Posted June 8, 2025 I don't even want to know what kind of filler is in that. It's making me think of a repair Greg did where the whole area turned out to be bondo.
Eli Posted June 9, 2025 Posted June 9, 2025 The less than body temperature feedback is a bit concerning...
ib2010 Posted June 9, 2025 Posted June 9, 2025 I had a tv yellow variant of this one, and it was oddly cool, with the 3’rd pu. More tone contribution, variation, with the extra pup than I expected.——- Greg did a great job on my snapped neck Briggs, that remains perfect after 10+ years.
