PSA: Mis-dated Hamer Special at GC Used- Early 80s

Labeled as a 1996 but it's a sustain block with a serial of 1 3101.  I don't follow Hamers of this era as closely, but that's a 1981, right?  Doesn't seems like a crazy good price, but posting in case anyone cares about it.

Correct, 81 checkerboard Special. That poker chip needs to go, as do those knobs. Looks like non-original pickups too,

That price is becoming more of the ballpark. Might be a little high given the non-original parts, but we're almost to the '$1350 is the new $350' point.

I have not seen a 1981 Special in good non repaired condition selling $1350, I see them listed for $2K and up all the time
