BadgerDave Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 I've got a couple of new projects in the works, so it's time to let one of the latest creations out of the incubator. This is the first project gutar that I've felt was distinctive enough to put a custom logo on. It's sort of the Badgerdave prototype guitar. Specs: Warmoth hollow mahogany body with AAA flame Koa top, clear gloss urethane finish. Warmoth "fatback" mahogany neck, stainless steel jumbo frets, ebony board, side truss rod adjustment, compound radius, clear finish. Harmonic Design Z-90 pickups with tortoise bobbins. Gold hipshot fixed bridge, adjustable height locking Gotoh "kluson style" tuners. The guitar weighs under 7 lbs and is acoustically very loud and resonant. The neck is BIG! Like a '58 Les Paul. The condition is near mint with just a couple of tiny nicks on the body. Nothing serious or through the finish. New high quality gig bag included. $1,000.00 or even trade for a Hamer 3 P-90 Korina Artist. Email me with questions, PayPal is OK (+3%). I can ship anywhere in the US for $25.00. International is OK, but shipping will cost more.
BruceM Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 Damn, you're killin' me here, Dave! I've played this guitar. I love this guitar. I'm trying to downsize my guitar collection. I'm going to step away from the computer for 20 minutes and see if I come to my senses.
Jack C Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 Bruce - if you decide that you need to move that silver Duotone in order to get the Badgercaster, just let me know. I'm there for you.
DavidE Posted May 23, 2006 Posted May 23, 2006 Holy schnikes! I like that......But I don't think I could part with my Korina Artist 3P90 for it though...Nice work Dave!

I do love the Gretsch more, but to my eye, it's more champagne colored than pink. Thanks for talking some sense into me, Chris. How about it Dave? Wanna sell the Gretsch?
