BCR Greg Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 That's a Studio, not a Studio Custom. A Studio Custom has binding, crown or Victory inlays(depending on the year) and commands a higher price.Maybe I am just reading your post wrong?Great color on that guitar.
nitro Posted June 10, 2006 Author Posted June 10, 2006 Thats a studio not a studio custom. It's a custom color. A custom color has to be special ordered. You don't see to many emerald green studios with gold hardware. Thanks for your time!
nitro Posted June 10, 2006 Author Posted June 10, 2006 I understand that! the STUDIO CUSTOM has binding and different inlays. This guitar is a HAMER USA STUDIO custom color emerald green.
BCR Greg Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 So this one has a custom color? Emerald Green, you say?LOLJust busting your balls, friend.Somebody buy this guitar, it's cool.
David B Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 I once passed on one of those in green for $500. God, I was stupid. But, I did come home with a Vector KK for $300 the same day. I would have prefered the Studio though. That is my favorite color! Good luck.
Caddie Posted June 10, 2006 Posted June 10, 2006 Perfect for St.Patty's Day gigs, Green Bay Packer gigs, Oregon Ducks gigs, Oakland A's gigs & Notre Dame gigs (when the Fightin Irish choose to where the green).Oh so versatile.noonan
Stokesdead Posted June 11, 2006 Posted June 11, 2006 Does this one have the artist ultimate top? It looks like a pretty nice figure. Also here's a guestion for you dealers: how much is the Ultimate Artist top upgrade on a Studio Custom?~stokesdead
nitro Posted June 27, 2006 Author Posted June 27, 2006 The guitar sold for the asking price of $1200.
Nuclear Wessel Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 Congrats to the new owner. That's a really nice looking instrument. Very vivid flame and very pretty color. I got one that's similar just within the last year.

DavidE Posted June 27, 2006 Posted June 27, 2006 That's a Studio, not a Studio Custom. A Studio Custom has binding, crown or Victory inlays(depending on the year) and commands a higher price.Maybe I am just reading your post wrong?Great color on that guitar. I did the same thing. Maybe punctuation would make it more clear.Hamer Studio. Custom color.Looks sweet.
silentman Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 I missed this one... did this actually sell for $1200?
black magic Posted June 28, 2006 Posted June 28, 2006 $1200 for a used Studio has to be the best price I have ever seen one bring in-congrats!! I have seen Studio Customs go for less. The market is weird, well, as am I when it comes to buying gear :-) Jack.
