serial Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 Had a couple trade deals on this one that didn't suit one or the other side, so my KK Downing Vector is available for trade/sale one last time. Otherwise, I'll be more than happy to keep it. Rare natural flametop with cherry back and sides-like KK's very own from the old Kahler ads. Haven't seen another like this-they're usually cherry, black or candy red. Some buckle rash on the back, but top and sides are very clean. THE lightest guitar I've ever owned and I've owned 85+ Hamers and well over 100 guitars overall over the years. I'd actually prefer a trade for something I will use more-since I got my Phantom, I've been using that for Kahler stuff at gigs. W/OHSC and of course Kahler bar. Non-Hamer trade bait is actually preferable right now, although I'm certainly open to cool Hamer stuff as well as cash offers. This one's only on the block b/c I've got that restless GAS stuff...
serial Posted June 22, 2006 Author Posted June 22, 2006 1984 Model, I'll have to check the neck profile-definitely not a beast, but comfortable. Not too thin and wimpy either. Absolute feather though. Hamerlock tuners AND locking Kahler nut (belt AND suspenders).
tomteriffic Posted June 22, 2006 Posted June 22, 2006 As a general rule, I don't like Vees, but I like that one. Since it's so light, there obviously can't be too much to it, so I'll have to go $348.50.
silentman Posted June 23, 2006 Posted June 23, 2006 Yeah, screw the Lotus.... I's coming this way... SOLD!
silentman Posted July 16, 2006 Posted July 16, 2006 I don't think we're getting along very well. I just can't get used to the shape and where I have to play on a strap it to feel comfy. I'm putting this back up for sale. No trades. PM or email me. I'm on vaca this week, so I won't be checking in as much. Please be patient.
cmatthes Posted July 24, 2006 Posted July 24, 2006 That is still one of the lightest guitars I've ever played. If that Kahler wasn't on there, it would float away.
