FS: 1992 Les Paul Classic Plus

This Les Paul is in great shape, plays wonderfully and sounds like rock-n-roll. Has SD Pearly Gates in both positions, aged nickel hardware and comes shipped in the original brown case with pink lining. No breaks or repairs ever , the guitar has had the top refinished to a washed cherry burst, a pro job, was originally amber. Sort of wild flame top, 1-pc. body, thin binding in cutaway, "Model" on headstock, no ugly green inlays!

$1600 shipped in the lower 48, no trades.

This era of Classics were awesome. I had a 1993 and it was an amazing guitar. This is essentially a 1960 Historic. Gibson had to tone it down, and put Classic on the headstock because everyone was buying these instead of the higher priced 60 reissue. They do have a slim taper neck, but it isn't like its a toothpick. My 1993 Classic, and my Class 5 were by far the best Pauls I have ever owned. You just can't go wrong with these, killer tops, no funky green inlay, and Brian has already swapped out the weak link in the guitar for the SDs IMHO.

Kick - Ass LP. Those are sweet guitars. Yours is especially desireable because

of model instead of classic on the headstock.

I've got a '94 Classic Plus Cherry Sunburst with SD Pearly Gates in both

positions. I think mine was the 1st year they went from model to classic on the headstock.

The inlays on mine aren't that weirded out swamp green either. More like a

touch of yellow, with a small dab of green thrown in. I really like it.

Good luck with your sale.

OK, I've gotten a boatload of $1500 shipped offers...I really need to squeak $1600 outta this baby, best LP I had until I got my R8. Like Poe said, essentially a R0 without a long neck tenon for a lot less money. If you are on the fence about it make a move :)
