Greg G Posted October 10, 2006 Posted October 10, 2006 Rio Grande Genuine Texas/BBQ set in zebra. Made in 04, bought new by me in 05. About 20 hours of playing time on them. Asking $95.00 shipped, half of what they cost me new. E mail with questions. Will get generally back to you after 8 pm Eastern.

Brewmaster Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 Atza wahr sheez goin' Man o man you have a heavy southern accent.
Dumo Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 Might as well pile on. I'm putting a Texas and a Muy Grande in my 2-tone Monaco Elite Mahogany this week too. RG's kick ass. Woohoo!
SteveB Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 I was thinking of trying this combination in an all mahogany PRS for fusion type stuff. How would this work, using the neck clean and the bridge for saturated lead stuff?
Brewmaster Posted October 11, 2006 Posted October 11, 2006 I am curious to hear how the RG BBQ set works in an all mahogany guitar. I understand that the neck is very warm sounding and would like to know if it gets muddy. I think the bridge may be ok since it is close to a Duncan C5.I'm leaning towards a set of Pearly Gates for an all Mahogany guitar but would appreciate any feedback on the Rios.
