  1. The LAST option for me would be USPS. Abysmal service in my area. I recently ranted in the Outer Circle about several of my packages they routed to Puerto Rico. I don’t live there.
  2. Prayers and good vibes sent your way! My sister had the same thing done last year, quadruple bypass. Discovered in the same way. She had a heart event and they found the blockages afterward. She has recovered well and I wish the same for you. Good luck!
  3. My Kauer with P90 neck/bucker bridge arrangement.
  4. Baker B1H, ‘69 Princeton Reverb, Early ‘90’s Tele Plus in rare Firestorm finish.
  5. Started life as a ‘77 Sunburst. Neck and headstock completely broken off. I wanted to repair it but gave up. Sent it to Murkat. He did not give up.
  6. Never been to their store. Last year I spec’d/ordered a Tom Anderson through them. Got it about 4 months later. They were great to deal with. No sales tax or shipping cost to my location.
  7. Congrats! I enjoy mine, also in FL. Faded Whale Blue over korina.
  8. ‘02 B1H in Honeyburst. Was an ‘02 NAMM display. Looks unplayed. All case candy, etc. Case shows some bumps & bruises but not the guitar. Someone must’ve stashed it away. Just unboxed & tuned it. Everything works as it should. Will get it restrung this evening & get more acquainted.
  9. Congrats! Bee-utiful guitar! You’ll love it. I have a couple of Suhrs as well. Keepers.
  10. Hi

I have an '07 Historic VOS SG/ LP, red with hard tail for sale.  Haven't gotten around to posting it yet.  It's in players condition.  Nice chunky neck.  I can send photos and details if you're interested.

      Hi Greg,

Thanks for the message. I need to find a slim 60's neck. I appreciate it!

  11. No affiliation. Legit? 20K! http://www.ebay.com/itm/Vintage-Hamer-Rick-Nielsen-CUSTOM-MADE-FOR-RICK-PREVIOSULY-OWNED-BY-RICK-/111304330127?pt=Guitar&hash=item19ea414b8f
  12. The most I've spent on a guitar was $1800 for my '95 Hamer Korina Standard #46, which was a bucket list guitar for me. I ate Ramen soup for awhile to afford it but I love it, no regrets. It may not sell for that now, but it's not for sale. I do however bequeath it to fellow Daytonian TomTerriffic in case of my untimely demise.
  13. Thank you, everybody! 'Tis a fine day indeed...
  14. I can't answer the value question but would agree if it's done right it wouldn't make a difference. I would ask you if you're sure it needs a refret. If there's enough height and you're satisfied with the size of the wire, a fret dress (level/crown/polish) will do wonders. A partial refret can get rid of problem frets. I just replaced the first 2 frets only on a G&L. They were heavily grooved but the remainder of the frets had .050 height left. Monster wire, .110 wide.
  15. Hope you have a great B-Day!
  16. What the heck. I'm game. Payment sent.
  17. As I recall the asking price was around 2700 back when I looked at it. The owner said that's what it cost him from the factory. Too much for this po' boy.
  18. That one was in a Chicago suburb. It was at Dr. Eddie's Goodtime Music. The owner ordered it. The pics are about a year and a half old. I forgot I had them.
  19. Saw this in a music store a while back. One man's idea of a dream Standard. No binding, ebony board, boomers, unique toggle switch location, reverse headstock. Sorry for the poor photo quality, there really is nice flame on it.
