unfun 75 Posted April 20, 2007 Posted April 20, 2007 Is the bass 34" scale or is it a short scaler like the SG bass?
BadJaxx Posted April 20, 2007 Author Posted April 20, 2007 Is the bass 34" scale or is it a short scaler like the SG bass? it's full scale....i bought her a short scale SX bass which is easier for her to play...not that she does... must be discontinued cuz i couldn't find it online now...i paid $320 and another $100 for the case as memory serves....a buddy of mine wants to use it on his next CD, but she got hit hard by the Taxmen so needs the dough...
Brewmaster Posted April 20, 2007 Posted April 20, 2007 I'm almost ready for another P90-Goldtop. It would have to be late 90's or later to make sure I get the right neck. I want to put a set of Lollar P90's in it because I know it would absoultely KILL!!!!!!!!! Those mini hums probably kill in their own way. Someone is going to get another winner!

I'll chime in that that Goldtop is a great guitar...my first Hamer, in fact. And yeah, the minibuckers in it are killer. So great in fact, that I bought another pair to install in a Korina Artist P90 from...you! But then it arrived and the Rio P90s sounded so great that I never installed 'em. I'd say the neck on this GT might be just a slight bit thinner than the Artist you sent me. But that's not thin by any means. Good, solid neck. Jack is great to deal with, so somebody is gonna get a great guitar! -Jonathan

BadJaxx Posted April 21, 2007 Author Posted April 21, 2007 yep, i bought it from Jonathan...also great to deal with....i only stated hameritis at the neck joint cuz i delved back to your listing and saw that you did....didn't really notice it myself...really love the guitar but i just can't let myself empty my savings....i've gone back n forth for weeks and finally forced myself to list it...seriously, last night i got it out of the case to look it over to make sure i'd accurately describe it....couldn't help but plug it in....immediately changed my mind about selling it....changed my mind twice....LOLreally wish i could part with something else instead...the lesson here is.....when you realize that all your guitars are REAL keepers....stay away from Ebay and For Sale forums or you'll be forced into a decision you don't wanna make...

I still fancy that one day I'll find a guitar to put them in, but if you have other ideas, let me know! -Jonathan

I have a P90 special that I would like to bucker-ize without routing it. Is there a special conversion ring set thats necessary or do they go right in?
