How were the electronics changed? Why was the switch removed?

Not a fourth hole. There is a black plug there, it has a finished look.

Switch removed = no bleed electric to acoustic and reverse. Now totally separate electronics.

A very practical mod.

Control acoustic on/off with acoustic volume.

Same mod on my other six string Duotone.

My 12 string is scheduled for the minor surgery next.

I totally agree. I had that switch disconnected on a Duotone Custom and

when I got my Custom Shop Duotone, I had them leave that switch off entirely.

It's a much cleaner look, and the "acoustic/electric/both selector" is not only redundant

(because you already have a dedicated acoustic volume knob), but nothing's worse

than ripping a solo and going to switch pickups and accidentally hitting the

switch and cutting off the electric- instant emasculation

Does anyone know a place in Connecticut where I can get mu Duotone modified? I hate the selector switch.
