You might want to consider a Custom Newport w/the acoustic bridge system they put in the DuoTone Custom. It would be very versatile.

If you really like the guitar and the price is right, reconsider #1. Talk to Greg about #2 on that specific model if you reconsider #1. I have an older Alvarez Yairi - great tone - put onboard electronics a few years ago with no tone change or loss. Now I have a great acoustic/electric. #3 - Why wait? Only if you have a good live tech for miking live. +1 L R Baggs.

My rig is setup for a P90 neck/ HB bridge that I use 90% of the time. When I play my strat through that set up, I use a Tech 21 DoubleDrive. Works great. Scarp
