Hi Fellers!

I'm Will--I don't know why I've been so hesitant to join here, I'm a long time Hamer user and fan!

I hope to join in the fray here and meet some of you--some I'm sure I know!

I have two auctions up on Ebay right now..

1st is a Hamer USA Studio in a custom color--dead mint condition--very cool color and I've not seen any solidbodies this color. I hate to part out with her, but I need to

free up some funds, you know the deal. :( Here's a link:

2nd is a Budda Superdrive 18 MK II in excellent shape! Killer tones!!

The auctions describe everything accurately, but if you'd like to ask any questions, or offer me an exorbitant sum of $$$$$$$;) , please feel free to email me at williebudda at hotmail dot com

Thanks guys!

Welcome to the HFC - hopefully you'll stick around and add to the general mayhem around here!

Williebudda has been on TGP for some time and certainly appears to have good trading history there as well.

Welcome!

BTW, what is "Hameritis"?

Hi Guys!!

Hope no one is upset over me posting an auction ad here, I didn't really know how else to make an intro (TA DA!!!)

Oh how rude of me!! :( Here's a few Hamers I know and love. The vintage orange one I've had since about

92' or 93'. I recently popped in Dimarzio Bluesbucker pickups in it and IT HONKS (Sonny Landreth is using

those in some of his guitars too..)

The Goldtop I got in 2001 on a trade. Very unusual guitar. IT SMELLS GOOD--Imagine a fine as hell woman and fresh cut lumber--I'm serious! Although I love P-90's, I've put a Duncan Antiquity mini-humbucker in the bridge (wound by Seymour himself!!). Loads of fun to play!

Welcome!

BTW, what is "Hameritis"?

It's basically finish issues that show up some time (usually years) after a Hamer has been built. By far, most of them seem to be on mid 90s Hamers, but no time after then seems completely immune. Originally pertained to lifting of the finish on the side of the fretboard, but now includes visible glue around the neck joint under the finish as well as any other time-delayed finish woes not caused by physical damage.

Hey Guys! Thanks to all for the kind welcome!

Well, my auction is over for the Hamer, it has not sold, I have no idea why. Near perfect condition

and a custom color to boot.

I'll offer it up here for $799.00 paypal'd and $30.00 shipping Fed Ex ground/insured.

Now drool on your keyboard for me.....

As far as trades on the Budda SD 18, I'm looking to sell it outright, but I'm curious as to trades...I'll listen to what ya got.

Thanks! :(:ph34r::lol:

 Stock up on power tubes, they go through them pretty quick. Guess that is part of the reason they sound so good, cause it's running on the ragged edge. Mine has JJ's throughout and the swap seemed to add to the top and bottom end while leaving the thick mids that it already had. JJECC803S pre's

Enjoy

Hey Willie,

I'm in north Ga about 50-60 miles up from Atlanta, near lake Lanier.

I used to live in Statesboro back in 92-93 and played a few gigs around Georgia southern, fun times.
