Travis Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Yeah, so I was bored today. Had my wife snap a couple of shots of me with my Tally. This thing really is the finest guitar I've ever played. I'm going to get another one. But for now, here are a couple of pics of me noodling around on this amazing guitar. But before you say anything, yes my eyes are open. I just happen to be looking at my hand while playing. It's a bad habit I need to get out of.
BubbaVO Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Superman, Mr. Potato Head and a nice collection of Hamers
Travis Posted February 16, 2008 Author Posted February 16, 2008 Yeah, that's the Optimash Prime, Transformers tie in. My sister has a weird sense of humor when it comes to Christmas gifts.
BubbaVO Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 what amp do you prefer playing your Tally through?I've got a Peavey Classic 20 and running it clean and letting the volume create distortion sounds heavenly. Then again, I like the Trademark 60s Marshall sounds too - I can reasonably close to some ACDC action.
MCChris Posted February 16, 2008 Posted February 16, 2008 Beautiful guitar. How about a rundown of what's in the rack? Is that a Special FM between the Mirage and the Standard?
Travis Posted February 16, 2008 Author Posted February 16, 2008 In the rack from left to right: 1978 Sunburst (8 0111), 83 Vector (for sale) 94 Mirage I, 95 Special FM (for sale) 97 Mahogany Standard (thinking about putting up for sale), 01 Artist Korina. Here's a little better shot of the rack. The Prototype and Ibanez 7 string are now gone. As far as the amp and Tally, I've been playing through my Flextone III mostly. The guitar sounds absolutely amazing, even on some of the high gain/metal settings. The neck pickup under high gain does an awesome smooth shred lead tone. I've got a heavily modded Epi Valve Jr head plugged into my 5150 cab. Through that the Tally will do shimmering cleans up to early ACDC (think High Voltage or Dirty Deeds). I haven't had the balls to plug the Tally into my 5150 yet.

silentman Posted February 18, 2008 Posted February 18, 2008 Nice to see another guy with his guitar up high. I find that most comfortable. Cool collection.
hamerjunkie Posted February 19, 2008 Posted February 19, 2008 Yeah, that's the Optimash Prime, Transformers tie in. My sister has a weird sense of humor when it comes to Christmas gifts. I`m more of the Star Wars, Darth Tater kind of guy...
