I am torn because i really want an SG but man this thing looks HOT.In the last year, I have had both a '61 Reissue SG and an SG Classic with the 2 P90's. I can honestly say (and not just b/c I want to sell this one) that this guitar far outshines, outclasses and outplays either of those guitars. The construction quality between this and the Gibsons are not even in the same ballpark. I paid about $1000 for the Classic and around $1400 for the '61. Both guitars needed work, even though they were new. I returned both b/c I felt that they were in no way worth the amount of money I paid for them. The Studio is a $2600 or so new guitar (and this one is like new) and the quality is worth way more than the $1200 I am asking.I love SG's as well. I had a beater I sold that I regret now. If you can find a good older one, more power to you! This Studio, however, kicks the ass (I believe) of any new Gibson SG. I would write that whether I was selling this one or not.J
