atquinn Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 That guitar has been for sale forever. Yup. It might actually be worth what they're asking in 4-5 years -Austin
Mindseyes Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 Would'nt a solid maple guitar be really bright sounding........looks really cool!......not 2k cool though
Kramer_nut Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 but according to him it "Plays itself" Isn't that worth $2k ?? Not!Todd
atquinn Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 Would'nt a solid maple guitar be really bright sounding........Not necessarily. I had a flame maple Cali Elite and it wasn't really bright (the Diablos I've had have been bridghter), however, the tone was very focused (in a good way).-Austin
serial Posted May 30, 2008 Posted May 30, 2008 Hamer used Western Broadleaf maple which is softer/less dense than Eastern Hardrock maple. Not nearly as bright. I had two flamebody Calis that sounded great.
