Mindseyes Posted June 3, 2008 Posted June 3, 2008 How much for the pedal board????? or were to find one like that because i'm runing out of room!!!!!!!!!
Zoner Posted June 4, 2008 Author Posted June 4, 2008 What mods on the DS-1? Monte Allum's kit with the 3 position LED selection. It sounded bad to my ears before, and now sounds louder, cleaner, and nearly as bad. I never "got" the DS-1 thing I guess . Z Oh, and Mindsyes, it is an older board from Rondo Music. I think you can still get them pretty cheap online?
Jimbilly Posted June 5, 2008 Posted June 5, 2008 All those Tube Kings sound GOOD to me, I recently put an old Amperex in mine, -super-smooth!!!!

Z 0 Zoner, ya still have the Boss V-Wah w/Univibe & the Danelectro Chicken Salad Univibe copy?
Zoner Posted June 14, 2008 Author Posted June 14, 2008 Zoner, ya still have the Boss V-Wah w/Univibe & the Danelectro Chicken Salad Univibe copy?Yes indeed I do. In Vibe mode the Boss treadle controls the rate of "spin" and that is something I wish My Deja Vibe did. I bought the Deja used for cheap and should have held out for the Fulltone with the built-in pedal - oh well. All those Tube Kings sound GOOD to me, I recently put an old Amperex in mine, -super-smooth!!!!I just swapped the stock tubes in mine for a Sylvania 12ax7 in one and a Philips 12at7 in the other. Wow, what a difference! I need to swap the tube in my Tube Driver that I'm keeping to see if I can get a similar improvement. I thought since these were running at low "starved" voltage levels that the tube was just for show, but it made a huge difference. Z
