I'm also avoiding plywood bodies unless I really love the paintjob.Anyone have a Centaura or Blitz or Kramer or BC Rich superstrat with a graphic finish for sale?Or, a plain white one would work. I wouldn't paint it - I'm thinking more along the lines of a Laptop Skin for that. I'll change it when I get bored

I did the finish, I have a friend who owns a body shop and graciously let me borrow his paint booth. That is a NOS body from Kramer when the went belly up and a bound headstock neck from around 1989. It took me a year to find the correct film. I have always wanted one but couldn't afford it so I built one. It plays great and sounds killer! I know where there is a mutt version of a Holo grid Pacer Imperial (two humbuckers) for around $700 if anyone is interested.

Although a black Centaura might be interesting.In terms of the price range, bolt-on USA BC superstrats ago for around the same as Hamer shredders, plus or minus for specific finishes. That Holoflash is very cool!
