If you look close, you may recognize some names. It's a four part series by Vintage Guitar magazine from 2002 or 2003. Should be required reading for all Hamer aficionados! cmatthes Posted October 4, 2008 Posted October 4, 2008 THat was actually a standard finish, but it isn't very common.Excellent-looking guitar!
Rhys Posted October 4, 2008 Author Posted October 4, 2008 Did you sell your black sunburst? C. That wasn't me, that was Riffpowers. I'm the one trying to offload the 1995 Standard. I guess all us Brits sound the same, eh?

bubs_42 Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 Seem's like a nice fellow. Sent me a bunch of pics. I like Green... Would be better with a brown back.. IMHO .
marcnorth Posted October 5, 2008 Posted October 5, 2008 Only problem with that article is the first explorer bass went to Martin Turner and not Ted Turner. Ted was one of the guitar players.
Rhys Posted October 14, 2008 Author Posted October 14, 2008 Auction just ended - sold for £833.56. That's a pretty high price for a Hamer over here.
bubs_42 Posted October 14, 2008 Posted October 14, 2008 Very nice seller but I didn't like what I was seeing in a few pics. Answered all my questions and sent me numerous Pics.
