FS: Hamer Korina Special Jr. Dual p90

Hey guys,

So I finally decided to sell my Hamer Korina special. I am the second (maybe third) owner but have taken real good care of it. The bridge P90 is a custom shop S.D. P90, I'm just not sure which one because I lost the documentation. Check out my craigslist listing below and feel free to e-mail me if you have any questions. Thanks.

SOLD

Thanks for the link.

The serial number is 433437

"The serial number is 433437"

Are you sure about that serial number? That would make it a 1994. I don't recall any Korina Specials being made at that time. The regular production mahogany Special from that time had a TOM/Stop tailpiece and no pickguard. I suppose it could have been a custom order but it looks like a recent one.

Edited to add I seem to remember a small run of Specials and Jr's from that time that were sold as a set. Really nice and really pricey IIRC. I think only 6 sets or so were built. Is it one of those?

Pretty sure I owned this guitar at one point (two of the pics were in the FS thread when I bought it). It is a flat-out monster. I was simply not man enough for it.

Ah, you're right. I read the number wrong! It's 453437 :)

Here is a picture of the back of the headstock

You might have. Two of the pictures I posted were old ones while the one on the office chair is a more recent one I took myself. If anyone is interested in seeing more pictures, let me know! Thanks!

Jerry

Edit: Just took these a few minutes ago. Note that I lost the black pickup switch selector and replaced it with a white one. Also a small chip by the strap button seen in picture two. That's it!

Yep, that makes it an '04.

99% sure this is my old guitar. It is killer!

I just looked in my PM history. I did indeed buy this from you during September of 2005.

I just broke into a cold sweat.. :)

Down, boy... :)

Well I don't have one from the 2000's.. I've have the 70's,80's,90',s covered.

Whatcha waitin' for then? Get on it!

Those are the coolest P-90 guitars on the planet! I want this so bad! Someone give me some money! Are you accepting trades? I live in the LA area too, which is helpful.

Hey Duane, I'm not really looking for any trades at the moment. Although I do really want one of those hot rod telecasters Fender has out. :)

Great looking guitar. I sent you an email with a trade offer if you are intersted. :)
