harry65 Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 http://miami.craigslist.org/pbc/msg/971526720.html .............don't know much about standards but seems like a great price........................
Joe G Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 Would that Standard be of the chunky neck variety?
specialk Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 I'm guessing Gene is already on his way over to grab it, Real nice price if it's as advertised....
HamStd Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 http://miami.craigslist.org/pbc/msg/971526720.html .............don't know much about standards but seems like a great price........................It is hard to tell from the pictures unless they have something more close up, but that looks like mahogany as oppose to korina as the first ltd ed. run had the vintage yellow tint and the later korina guitars that came out were much lighter (except for the ones that were ordered with a sunburst or solid finish on them). If it is Mahogany that is still a good price, if it is korina than it is a very good good price.Peter
cmatthes Posted December 28, 2008 Posted December 28, 2008 I agree w/Peter. Mahogany, not Korina.Still within a good price range though.
harry65 Posted December 28, 2008 Author Posted December 28, 2008 if i had two nickels to rub together i'd buy it for an investment piece, it's only 30 miles down the road, but in the words of johny cash "i'm busted"...............................
