Based on the sought after yet never made Gibson Explorer Ventura design in the 50's. This guitar has been professionally set up with 10's, intonated,PUPS adjusted etc. .This guitar is well balanced, plays with little effort and can sound clear or driven. Definitely an eye catcher-the "V" Hamer headstock is really cool. Played sparingly as there is gentle pick brushing to pickguard. You don't see these much, so if you've wanted one-here you go. One of the most comfortable playing guitars I've encountered, if you can believe that. It must have something to do with the shape, because it was the same with all of the others (Korina Nielsens, prototypes and MIK versions).

True dat' The craig'slist collection for sale, #36 Korina RN had a $4k ask. I passed on that price. Trick is to perform Sgt Peppers in Lost Wages/las vegas in september so save your hamer-time vacation money for that trip and eventual hamer-jam...
