I shouldn't, but I'm gonna -

The Good:

1997 Mahogany Standard w/ one piece body. Absolutely killer guitar in Very Good/Excellent condition. No issues/cracks/breaks/repairs of any kind. The neck is an incredibly nice medium 'C' and the frets are Excellent w/ nearly zero wear. The gold hardware looks very good. Everything is stock, except the knobs and switch tip (were black), and the chrome StrapLocks.

I bought it to cure some G.A.S., and to find out what all the Standard hubbub was about. Well, this was my first, and I completely understand. In a different circumstance, she'd never leave. Great great guitar, and someone will be very happy.

The bad:

Hameritis: Purely cosmetic. It's not chipped and you can't feel it.

And a fresh bump:

It's pretty small (about 1/2 the size of a match head). Never let a girl wielding an acoustic guitar into your guitar room. Dammit!

Some serious Standards for sale around lately! This one is one of those rock machines which has just what you need to rock the house. Cool as hell.

Not that I'm complaining about my Standard Custom that I had semi-recently acquired, but, where the hell were all of these WELL south of 2K Standards when I was shopping???

It's in good hands.

My brother received the guitar today.

He's very happy with the condition and the seller was very pleasant too deal.

"Sustains for days."

What are brothers for..... can't wait to borrow it.

Very cool!

He needs to sign up here. After talking to him, he'd definitely fit right in!! And his 'Stand-o-caster' is cool as hell. I need one of those!
