SOLD Line 6 Duoverb head. 100 watts head. Everything works great. No issues. Head look like new. Bought it here last year from a fellow HFC'er. Comes with Line 6 FBV2 footswitch.

That's a great deal on that head. I prefer the head to the combo for portability (still love my combo, don't get me wrong!).

This is round 2. I bought one when they were being blown out and I returned it within the 30 days. I've asked the Matthes brothers to share their secrets of using the Duoverb to get great live sounds.

The Duoverb has no built in effects other than reverb. I used a Boss ME-5 multieffects pedal with mine very successfully. I tried lots of other pedals with it. It didn't like boutique OD pedals very much, but anything time-based worked well.

IMO, the Line6 shortboard is essential to getting the most from the Duoverb.

I have the shortboard for my Spidervalve. I would guess that my L6 M13 would work well to add effects.

There is also software you can download from the line 6 Forum or at least the URL to download it from. It lets you use a MIDI imterface to edit the amp. There are many more reverbs, wahs, and sims it lets you address. IIRC it also will let you put he same amp on channel 1 and 2 which lets use set up the same amp for clean and dirt.
