cmatthes Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 I'm wiring up a Tele with a Filtertron in the neck and a double blade GFS Tele bridge pickup in, well, the bridge. With otherwise standard Tele controls, what would you recommend in there, two 500k pots, right? What value cap? Thanks much!
Mickb Posted October 28, 2009 Posted October 28, 2009 I would go with the 500k pots and see how you go, try a .047 cap..it's an easy change on a tele as you are no doubt aware, if you find that the blade pickup is a bit harsh ( sorry, I haven't heard them so no idea ? ) then try changing one of the pots for a 250k.. It can be a bit of SIAS till you find what works best for you..CheersMick
