bulletbob Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 Gorgeous thick flame maple top... 59 Burst is what the color is called I think. Lovely flame and figuring , but not "over the top" Its in beautiful original shape, no playwear to speak of. Has Original Duncan 59 in neck and JB in bridge. Comes with good Washburn hard case... Will consider trade for a good quality electric 12 string guitar, otherwise make an offer shipped for this guitar.. Photos, home address, and home phone #, just email me.. bullet_bob@lycos.com I am not stupid, and not unrealistic, so please make reasonable and realistic offers, will take best REASONABLE offer... Certainly not desperate for money , I just don't use this guitar enough to keep it around any longer , and am looking at funding a few other pieces. Lets talk.. I rarely get on this forum these days, and if interested please email me, as I may not respond here due to limited "net" time.. bob
cynic Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 I am not stupid, and not unrealistic, so please make reasonable and realistic offers, will take best REASONABLE offer... My idea of reasonably realistic for something I can't see is about.......$350?
bulletbob Posted April 5, 2010 Author Posted April 5, 2010 You guys can act ridiculous if you like, but for anyone thats serious, I have posted my email address, and will send good pics, and answer all questions through email contact, its just easier...| , I will re post my email address,,, bullet_bob@lycos.com I have sold a couple of guitars on this forum, and the deals went great. if you are close by, you can come and play it as well. bob
HoboMan Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 Posting pics will get you A LOT more interest. Sometimes people who aren't really looking to buy can be persuaded to make an impulse buy by seeing a pic.I was seriously in the market for an FM last week but ended up buying an Artist from this forum. If you don't know how to post pics e-mail them to me and I'll post them for you.
mirrorimij Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 Not to be a buzzkill and I'm certainly not the self appointed forum police but you are supposed to set a price for ads here.http://www.hamerfanclub.com/forums/index.php?showtopic=24317

Also, please don't take the "$350" thing seriously. That's an inside joke!

Also, please don't take the "$350" thing seriously. That's an inside joke! Sorry, I didn't realize I was making an auction type of sale.. Thought I was doing something good.. Meant no harm.. I have been notified by the mods, pics are forthcoming, and I think $700 shipped is pretty reasonable.. The guitar is in spectacular condition, with NO playwear at all, no dings or scratches that I am aware of, but I can use a magnifier and check closer,.. Just a slight touch of Hameritis on the fretboard where it meets the neck.. If you don't know "Hameritis", you really need to get more involved in this forum .. bob bullet_bob@lycos.com
carfish7 Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 What year is the FM, BB? First digit of the serial in case you didn't know how that works. I did a swap with bulletbob myself once here and it was pretty smooth in spite of the fact there were no Hamers involved. Awaiting pics. Z
bulletbob Posted April 5, 2010 Author Posted April 5, 2010 What year is the FM, BB? First digit of the serial in case you didn't know how that works. I did a swap with bulletbob myself once here and it was pretty smooth in spite of the fact there were no Hamers involved. Awaiting pics. Z Yep, and I'm still playing that very nice SA 800!.. The FM Special is a 1995... Upon very close inspection, I have found what may indeed be a problem in the finish. In some spots on the back, there are marks that look like a partial handprint.. They don't wash or wipe away, and seem to be in the lacquer itself... You can't see them from a few feet away, but the areas are there.. Back only, nothing on the front... They may buff out but I am not sure.. Its possible these marks may be under the finish, not on it , I can't tell.. Otherwise the guitar is near mint, and just about unplayed. Lets call it $650 shipped or best offer. Mod Edgar Allen Poe said he would post pics... bob
edgar_allan_poe Posted April 5, 2010 Posted April 5, 2010 Here are the pics...Thanks for understanding and following the rules Bob, no harm no foul.

edgar_allan_poe Posted April 7, 2010 Posted April 7, 2010 Take some pics in direct sunlight and at an angle that makes the top really *pop*. Here is an example...
bulletbob Posted April 7, 2010 Author Posted April 7, 2010 Take some pics in direct sunlight and at an angle that makes the top really *pop*. Here is an example... Thats what I did actually, and it just didn't happen.. I may have not been at the proper angle of the dangle. More pics on the way.. Lots of traffic on this axe from this site and another its posted on. Hamers are more popular than I realized.. It will sell fairly quickly when I send some better pics out... bob
