Finally got to spend some time at my workbench

This was the first weekend in a while that I've been able to work on a few guitars.

The first was an Eclipse that wasn't quite doing it for me. I added a set of Lollar minis, a Faber compensated wraptail, TonePros locking studs and, to dress it up a bit, a set of knobs with black acrylic inserts. It now rocks righteously!

Second, I did a pickup swap on my Nash S57. I did the heavy lifting on this one about a month ago, routing the body and modifying a pickguard to accomodate a bridge humbucker. The pickup I initially installed had an internal short, so it now sports a WCR Goodwood. A friend came up with the perfect name for this guitar. It shall forevermore be known as "the Grease Fire"

Finally, I'm nearly finished assembing another Warmoth project. This one has a flame Koa body, Hipshot bridge, Harmonic Design Z-90s, a solid Brazilian rosewood neck, RS electronics and a nifty set of vintage Danelectro knobs. BTW, the finish is by Master Stike. Yes, he does clear nitro too!

Glad to see you back at it. Love that Warmoth. I'm curious to hear how it sounds with that wood combo. Nice job Stike.
