Hamers USA Guitars for sale.

All guitars come with original hardshell case- prices are firm but fair. Please contact me with any questions or if you would like more specific photos. All instruments ship from zip code 06790.

1982 Hamer USA Blitz Bass- this Blitz bass is like most well played Blitz basses from that era- there is a significant amount of checking and wear, the white finish has yellowed nicely to look like a vintage instrument. All original as far as I can tell. Comes with original hardshell case. Nice vintage USA bass for a cheap price. $375 + actual shipping charges.

1996 Hamer USA Eclipse- candy green finish. Minor wear- a few dings and dents but overall an excellent looking and sounding USA built guitar with original hardshell case. All hardware and pickups are original to this instrument. $450 + actual shipping charges.

1992 Hamer USA Centaura- 3 tone sunburst finish. All original with OHSC. I believe these are Duncan pickups (never had them out). S/S/H configuration with Hamer/Floyd Rose trem (some pitting on D string saddle). Players wear but all in all a great instrument in great condition. $400 + actual shipping charges.

My eBay username is mirrorimij- please check my feedback. I've also done some deals with long time HFC'rs. I won't mention any names but they can chime in if they feel the need.

Not looking for trades.....just thinning the herd and these guys don't get played as much as they deserve.

I have photos of all the instruments that I can email to interested parties. I don’t know how to post the photos (would appreciate it if anyone can help me post the photos).

Email me at [email protected]

Heck, I'll chime in!

Bob is THE Class Act. No worries dealing with him, and those prices are freakin' sweet!

Chris/Dave/hredspf...emails and pics sent

Chris, I've put a hold on the Eclipse for you but I don't have a "verified"PayPal account so I can't receive money. I won't give them my bank account number. Hopefully we can work something out. Contact me. I've emailed my cell #.

Deals pending on the Eclipse and Centaura.

Demented- yes I am in Connecticut. Pic's on the way. I am near the Torrington/Litchfield line (off route 8) if that helps. It would be much better to deliver this bad boy in person- the friggin' case is huge.

Another kudo for Bob. He's one that has gone WAY beyond the typical for us, and I'll fight anyone that even looks funny at him.

Chris/Greg- thanks for the kind words.

SirDouglas- send me your email address. I can;t figure out how to attach photos to PM. I may already have a deal on the Blitz bass. Someone is waiting on a shipping cost from me and they have the right of first refusal.

Jorge,

The Centaura is spoken for (and so is the Eclipse).

The Blitz bass is still available.

Will keep you updated if the situation changes.

The Centaura and Eclipse are sold- thanks guys.

Blitz bass is still available and also for sale is my 1981 Vector. The 81 Vector is all original (original Dimarzio pickups, Sustain Block bridge, tuners, every knob and screw- includes original case). This guitar is a player so it has its share of dents, dings, pick marks, etc. Not a museum piece but a damn fine example of an old Hamer. $600 + shipping

Pics available on request. Contact me at [email protected]

Bump because I thought someone was looking for a Vector...

...and Bob IS a class act.

Thanks Serial...and to publicly answer some emails I've received...

I'm selling because I have too many toys and I find myself distracted by the amount of stuff I have. I did the most/best playing in my college days when I had a Gibson "The Paul" and Fender "Super CHamp"- that was it. Then I surrounded myself with tons of guitars, boutique amps, etc and I haven't been using any of it. I've made a choice to keep instruments in which I contributed to the building process (in some cases to the design process) and historically significant Hamers (prototypes with provenance, etc). A musical hack does not need 25+ instruments.

Prices are firm but fair- I've already received an email saying I was nuts to price the 81 Vector at $600. My response to that is to investigate what older Gibsons are worth (even Norlin era crap is selling for much higher than that). Gibson heyday student instruments (Jr's. Specials, etc) sell for 10+ times the price I'm asking. This is old wood, early Dimarzio pickups, arguably the best bridge ever, all original/very good condition. If I can't pass it along at that price I will keep it. I would keep it anyway except, when it comes to pointy guitars, I ALWAYS reach for the korina.

Peace/Out

Heh -- I have an 81 checkerboard special and it's beat to crap. Worth every penny of $600 to me and if you go by playability and sound it's worth more.

Fine guitars, those dimarzios have a raucous and pure rock and roll tone to them, and I, too, love the sustain block bridge.
