Lockbody Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 I'm looking for something line-level to run through my Boogie. My H2o pedal sounds nice, but its input overloads with my clean channel settings, and I'm not looking to change anything. I just use delay for a couple of songs, and chorus for just one, so I'm not looking for anything top shelf with a ton of effects, just the ability to run the chorus and delay at the same time when needed. I also switch the loop on and off with my Mk IV's footswitch, so it doesn't have to be the most transparent either. Ideally, you've got an older unit gathering dust somewhere, or maybe propping up a table leg, decoupling a cab from the floor, etc... First generation Visual Sound H2o for trade (+ cash?) if desired. Right nice, it is. Thanks.
Mindseyes Posted December 8, 2011 Posted December 8, 2011 I have a line 6 HD 500 and a RJM / Diamond MAC-2 that I would let go for around $475 wich would give you just about complete MIDI control over your amp / FX rig
Lockbody Posted December 8, 2011 Author Posted December 8, 2011 Thanks man. That's just a lot more than I need right now, although a few years ago I would have been all over something like that.
jisham Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 You might want to look for a used Rocktron Xpression or even an Intellifex. Great sounding and easy to use.
Stike Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 I have a near mint TC G Sharp I would let go for $125. http://www.tcelectronic.com/G-Sharp.asp

Stike Posted December 9, 2011 Posted December 9, 2011 No. You can run one fx (chorus, delay, phase, etc.) with reverb.

I have an intellifex and the choruses and delays are killer. I haven't used it (or any rack gear) in years, but it was great when I was doing the Pink Floyd thing - and the program mapping made it super easy and flexible with a Mesa TriAxis so I could go through all of the Wall or Dark Side in sequence. You can probably find one used for less than 200. Check out the replifex too - it has channel switching for external amps. Geoff
Lockbody Posted December 10, 2011 Author Posted December 10, 2011 Thanks for the replies and offers everyone. I picked up an Alesis Quadraverb locally a little while ago. The price was right ($50) so I couldn't resist.
Brooks Posted December 10, 2011 Posted December 10, 2011 bob, i thought you were a punk rawker? chorus is for pussies.
