Feynman Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Wow, the cool thing about your post is that I have absolutely no idea what any of that means. I am intrigued.
morningstar Posted November 22, 2012 Author Posted November 22, 2012 Ok. This guy posts some pretty spectacular slo mo videos of his buddy blowing some objects to smitheroons: He also posts up all kinds of other slo mo destruction. VIVALDI goes perfectly with this odd combination of art and destruction. I'd like to give these a try but don't want to blow myself up. Any body try these? thankee morningstar
murkat Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Man, I got to try that.I do not think you have anything to worry about in regards to blowing yourself up T.
morningstar Posted November 22, 2012 Author Posted November 22, 2012 The first time I saw this my jaw was hanging open and I was laughing my ass off. Holy tap dancing Criminy! I want to nail some (expired) canned goods. Any Puget Sound area bros know where this kind of tomfoolery can be perpetrated?morningstar
tomteriffic Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Manohboy. That looks fun as hell! I've blown up plenty of milk jugs full of water with various calibers, but that beats them all. And that hole right through the spindle of a hard drive is amazing. It looks like bird shot works better than the larger gauges. Man, I've got to try that and drop a few jaws at the range. As an aside: when a household appliance died at our place out in the middle of nowhere, my brother used to leave it in the back hard until it was full of large caliber holes, then cart it off.
Toadroller Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 Well, those would be handy in a zombie attack.I would not want to be on the receiving end of that.I know what to do with my spent shells.
Ting Ho Dung Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 I haven't used waxed bird shot but I do light my grill with this.http://youtu.be/WwhCygmhbCg
gtone Posted November 22, 2012 Posted November 22, 2012 I'd like to give these a try but don't want to blow myself up. morningstar First thing that came to mind when I read your post was the wife's uncle when he was out duckhunting and the muzzle of his shotgun got caked full of mud. Thinking he could just blow it out, he stupidly pulled the trigger and yep - you can guess the rest. He said the result was absolutely earsplitting and the barrel of the gun looked just like the Bugs Bunny/Loonytunes cartoon where it was split and splintered backwards. Stupid bugger was lucky he didn't kill himself...
