sirDaniel Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 srsly! $750 i said. LIVE-IN ATA flight case. I bought his 2x12. has never left the recording studio. w/hangtags. I think it has the C90 speakers. He said $100 to ship. so, there you have it. more pix available. Road case alone is worth like $400.
Thundersteel Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 I have one of these (without the flight case). It has MUCH better build quality than a Marshall equivalent. GLWTS.
diablo175 Posted August 6, 2013 Posted August 6, 2013 I have one of these (without the flight case). It's has MUCH better build quality than a Marshall equivalent. GLWTS.How does it compare to say a Marshall 1960 sound wise? I know this starts to venture into cork sniffers territory but all cabs are NOT created equal and they definitely bring about a varied sound depending on guts build materials, construction, open/closed back etc.
sirDaniel Posted August 7, 2013 Author Posted August 7, 2013 has a pretty big bottom end and with those speakers can handle the kitchen sink. major chugga chugga.Oh, BTW, also comes with a soft cover. If you are going to need a 4x12 to gig with, this is a helluva deal You could even flip the case and have a bargain 4x12.
Thundersteel Posted August 7, 2013 Posted August 7, 2013 I'd say it has a slightly darker sound to it. major chugga chugga. ^^^^Yup!

IME the cab is one of the most defining factors of a rig. If I'd bought a used 2x12 before buying a head, I would have just skipped the head and stuck with my current combo running into it. Good luck with the sale. I'll bet that cab is a monster.
sirDaniel Posted August 15, 2013 Author Posted August 15, 2013 hey, throw an offer...He just may...free delivery in MN, IA and WISCo
black magic Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 If you`ve ever played thru Celestion CL80`s, then the 90`s are very similar. Big bottom end and smooth loud top end. Not as much mids like a G12T-75 Celstion. I was not a big CL80 speaker fan. Not enough crunch and more low chug.
FrankieIII Posted August 15, 2013 Posted August 15, 2013 $100 to ship? Who can do it for that little?
ptm1diver Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 Hey,I'll give the standard HFC price of $350 plus the $100 for shipping and handling. I may be broke, but I'm not cheap.
sirDaniel Posted August 19, 2013 Author Posted August 19, 2013 hey, if you're looking for a serious 4x12 in PRISTINE CONDITION... again, with hang tags still and a soft cover...This bitch is ready to do some damage. I bet the drivers are barely broken in.It's for my recording studio guy, and YES..it's NEVER left the studio. Why the road case? whoknowsbtw, I bought his 2x12 / with case horizontal recto cab. big bad sound.
