serial Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 Didn't sell this cab at the Philly show (got lots of offers, but most were for trade stuff which doesn't do me any good at the moment), so I figured I'd post it here before listing it on the Bay. Anyway, this is the circa 1982 25th Anniversary white tolex (which is not made any more) 4X12 slant cab. I never had the back off, but IIRC, these came with the 70w Celestions. Pics below. I'd really rather not ship this thing and depending on where someone is, I'd be willing to drive a little to deliver it. Some tolex rips and a couple of ciggie burns, but this cab sounds great. Front grille cloth has a rip/dented area over the bottom right spkr above the Anniversary badge. Can get more pics on request-this is what I've got for now. I was thinking $500 for HFC price. Lemme know if you're interested. Please reply to "serialsteve79@hotmail.com" since my email through the board will no longer be valid after 11/22. Thanks.
sirDaniel Posted November 17, 2005 Posted November 17, 2005 I wish I had a reason to own it. I want it bad....

black magic Posted November 18, 2005 Posted November 18, 2005 How do the 70`s compare to the G12T-75 speakers? Thanks-Jack.
serial Posted November 18, 2005 Author Posted November 18, 2005 By all accounts (from everyone I've talked to), they are superior. I've never A/Bd them. If anyone wants pics I shot some more this afternoon to show the wear and tear. It DO sound good though.Anyone need a white Marshall Power Brake in super clean condition?
BCR Greg Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 The G12M70 speakers break up earlier and have a smoother distortion to them. The GT75s are harsher and have more of a midrange scoop. I prefer the 70s to the 75s all day long.
Scottcrud Posted November 19, 2005 Posted November 19, 2005 The 70's are great if you love midrange and I'll just leave it at that.
black magic Posted November 20, 2005 Posted November 20, 2005 Bump, and thanks for the comments gents. Ya, the midrange kills it for me. Good luck bro-Jack.
