Monaco III - price?

I got an offer for a good looking Mon3, and the price seems fair - for Europe/Germany: 1250/1685$

I wonder: What's a decent price for a Mon3 (in $)?

Most of the time when they actually sell its between between $1100 and $1500.

The one in Germany on the bay is about 1400 EUR (1800 USD) which is rather high...

Considering the usual import expenses, I think the price is not high. An equally priced MIII in dollars, adding shipping, VAT, and customs, result in almost the same euros amount. Getting it shipped for free would be a nice deal though.

I agree with you Dirk but at the same time, 1100 EUR could be a good offer as there are not so many buyers on the market.

However, I think this is a personal matter and around 1200 EUR would be a good deal too...

Among us, the potential buyer market is as well rather limited (due to some kind of rules...not spend money you do not have...etc.)

Folks, to make it official and to end all speculations: I will pass on this one. I hardly know the possibilities of the guitars I already own, and then there is some money to save - be it for a road trip to the States or for a certain Tally...

Had a 3000 € + Gretsch Nashville in hands last week - different beast but my Monaco 3 outclassed it on any level.
